Previously named Imagica, this Canadian band themselves describe their concept as a fusion of retro electronica and dynamic contemporary songwriting. This is one of the best debut albums I have listened all my life. This album is dark, lush, mysterious, and approaches horror and fantasy. If you don't know them, enjoy them.

Theatres des vampires - Suicide vampire

Fourth full-length album from this Italian band. Sometimes they are related to Cradle of Filth, but they are not a copycat of CoF, as a matter of fact they're quite different in many ways. All of you "true" blacksters might want to stay away from this band. Yes, you won't get here ultra high pitched shrieks, insane drumming and bad production, you'll get haunting keyboards, melodic riffing and clean vocals.

Third album and after have gained a considerable success by their 2 previous releases these French guys are back with a new production. Equilibrium - Turis fratyr

Great debut album from these German band. EQUILIBRIUM is one of those new groups we usually don't give a chance because we don't know them, but when we finally push play and after some minutes we become fans. This album reminds me of Finntroll and Ensiferum, but Equilibrium has its own style. If you think there is nothing new into metal, check this one. If you are into viking metal or black metal with a more keyboard based song structure, I highly recommend this album (include 2 Japanese bonus tracks).

Fractalia - Fractalia

Debut album released 3 years ago. FRACTALIA is an underground Mexican band that has growth a lot since this album. They are very well known into dark/gothic scene, sharing concerts with Lvzbel, Anabantha and To/die/for to mention some bands. This album has excellent sound and great lyrics full of mysticism. The group is preparing to release their new album, early next year.

Anabantha - Letanias capitulo prohibido

Hello and welcome!

My name is Daniel, I'm from Mexico. I hope you enjoy this blog as long as I will.
